Job summary

Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY, is seeking a warehouse associate in Sterling Heights, MI. This is a physically demanding role in a non-climate controlled environment. You will unload, inspect, and move product, assist with deliveries, and support inventory control.

Requirements include being 21+ with a valid driver’s license and at least one year of driving experience, ability to pass DOT requirements, and proficient English. The shift is 7a-3:30p, Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and at least one year of driving experience.
• Requires heavy repetitive lifting (50-75 lb) and constant movement.
• Must be able to pass all DOT requirements, including physical, background screening, and a MVR.
• Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.
• Demonstrated history of steady employment.

• Provide deliveries in a 26’ box truck as needed

In this position you will:

• Unload and inspect incoming product (this can be between 50-75lb) mostly by hand
• Pull, stage, and load product for customers, while providing excellent service
• Provide deliveries in a 26’ box truck as needed
• Assist with inventory and damage control

The Details:

This position is full-time Monday - Friday from 7a-3:30p with the occasional overtime. The pay rate is $20-22 based on, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications. Additional compensation can include driving bonuses and target bonuses.
