Job summary

Vandapower is hiring a Logistics Employee to join our Austin team. You will help move and store goods, work with the Logistics Foreman, and ensure shipments meet quality and delivery standards in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires organization, attention to detail, basic computer skills, and strong teamwork. You may lift heavy items and participate in stock counts while contributing to continuous improvement and safety.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

What will your job look like?

We are continuously growing, and we need you to support our expansion! We would like you to join our Austin team. You will work closely with the Logistics Foreman and our logistics team.

As a Logistics Employee, you will be responsible for managing the efficient movement and storage of goods according to established standards and procedures. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The successful candidate will ensure that all shipments meet quality and delivery standards and are processed in a timely manner.

As Logistics Employee your responsibilities include:

• Picking appropriate products for shipment or internal use
• Take timely action to properly maintain stock and perform necessary stock counts.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment as required
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet logistics goals
• You are responsible for packing and stacking outgoing goods. You have an understanding of how to package goods correctly.
• Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge related to the logistics process

Are you the right person?

• You preferably have previous experience in logistics. You are able to do physically heavier work, and this does not deter you.
• As Logistics employee, you will need a strong attention to detail and a quality-oriented mindset. Some basic computer skills and strong communication and teamwork skills are required.
• You will have to do some heavy lifting, and you will have the ability to perform repetitive tasks with hands, wrists and arms. You have good vision and have the ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
