Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Material Handler/Forklift Operator for a 2nd shift in Aurora, CO, to support production of conveyor systems. The role requires forklift experience and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

You will safely operate forklifts, prepare materials for production, read work orders and blueprints, and work in a fast-paced, temp-to-hire environment. Training is 2–4 weeks on day shift, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move materials and components throughout the facility.

• Measure material dimensions using a tape measure.
• Load, unload, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Support fabrication and production activities as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Material Handler/Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Training Period: 2-4 weeks on Day Shift

Overtime: Available based on production needs

What We're Looking For

• Previous forklift experience in a manufacturing, construction, fabrication, or industrial setting
• Experience handling large, heavy, or oversized materials
• Ability to read basic blueprints and follow work instructions
• Comfortable using a tape measure and taking accurate measurements
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
• Flexibility to work overtime when needed

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
