Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a motivated Warehouse Worker for our Akron, OH facility on a part-time basis. You will participate in distribution, receiving, order filling, stock management and inventory control to support our foodservice operations.

Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, a strong work ethic, the ability to work in temperature extremes, and the stamina to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. AVI offers a family culture and opportunities for training and growth.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse
• Receive products coming into the warehouse
• Verify quantity and description of products
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped
• Stock incoming orders
• Maintain accurate physical inventories
• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner
• Follow proper receiving procedures
• Comply with AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)
