Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. in Austin, Texas, is seeking a Warehouse Worker to support safe, efficient warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and delivery preparation.

You will load/unload, operate forklift as trained, maintain inventory accuracy, organize bin locations, and help maintain a clean, compliant workspace. High school diploma required; forklift experience preferred; 0-1 years in warehouse acceptable.

• Accurately receives, stores, tracks, and moves inventory.
• Efficiently picks, loads, and prepares orders while meeting quality standards.

• Operates or learns to operate basic warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health and safety compliance in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare orders by processing requests, pulling accurate materials, and placing them in the appropriate area for customer pickup or delivery.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory controls by minimizing material damage and ensuring order accuracy.
• Organize the warehouse and manage bin locations to support efficient operations.
• Establish, maintain, and promote high standards of customer service.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and operated according to company standards.
• Operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment as authorized and trained.
• Assist with product storage, material handling, and delivery setup activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Position Purpose

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Experience in construction, building materials, delivery, or a related industry preferred.
• Familiarity with material handling and inventory storage practices preferred.

Minimum Education

High School Diploma or GED.

Minimum Years of Work Experience

0-1 years of experience in warehouse, material handling, delivery, construction, or a related field.
