Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Worker in Wilsonville, OR to maintain a safe, organized warehouse and support shipping, receiving, and delivery preparation activities. You will process orders, move materials, load/unload trucks, manage inventory, and operate forklift equipment as trained.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, teamwork, and reliable service to customers, with on-site responsibilities and weekend availability as needed.

Position Overview

Position Purpose: The primary function of the Warehouse Worker is to be responsible for warehouse maintenance, shipping and receiving, product storage, inventory organization, and delivery preparation activities while supporting safe and efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain health and safety compliance in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare orders by processing requests, pulling accurate materials, and placing them in the appropriate area for customer pickup or delivery.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory controls by minimizing material damage and ensuring order accuracy.
• Organize the warehouse and manage bin locations to support efficient operations.
• Establish, maintain, and promote high standards of customer service.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and operated according to company standards.
• Operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment as authorized and trained.
• Assist with product storage, material handling, and delivery setup activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
• Reports to the department manager. No direct reports.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to safely load, unload, move, and stock materials.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate information accurately.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate basic warehouse equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Experience in construction, building materials, delivery, or a related industry preferred.
• Familiarity with material handling and inventory storage practices preferred.

Minimum Education

• High School Diploma or GED.

Minimum Years of Work Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in warehouse, material handling, delivery, construction, or a related field.

Certifications

• None required.
