Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Warehouse Helper to support production and distribution by pulling orders, moving materials, and staging shipments. You will work in a fast-paced industrial setting and help ensure on-time delivery of products. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, operate material handling equipment, and follow safety procedures.

1–2 years of helper experience is preferred; no formal education required. U.S.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and TWIC Card.
• 1–2 years of helper-level warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
• Able to lift and maneuver packages of a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
• Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
• Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
• Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
• Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
• Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.

Must be able to maintain production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product for shipping; moving and organizing inventory as needed; operating machinery to move items. Other duties may be assigned.

Specific Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
• Able to lift and maneuver packages of a minimum of 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
• Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
• Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
• Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
• Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
• Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.
