Job summary

Food Bank of the Rockies in Grand Junction, CO seeks a Warehouse Operations Specialist to support food distribution, inventory and volunteer coordination while upholding safety and sanitation standards. You will rotate stock, restock, assist with recalls, train volunteers, and collaborate across teams to ensure efficient operations and a positive volunteer experience.

This is a full-time role with typical hours 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with occasional evenings and Saturdays, offering

Responsibilities

• Store, stage, pack, rotate, and restock food products per storage, sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Keep pick locations full and organized; restack and replenish as needed.
• Pull large delivery orders in priority order and verify accuracy before distribution.
• Assist with recalls and monitor compliance requirements.
• Set up volunteer work areas; check in volunteers and provide orientation.
• Train volunteers on tasks, safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure operational efficiency and positive volunteer experience.
