Job summary

MSC Industrial Direct Co., Inc. is seeking a team‑oriented associate for daily receiving tasks in our Jonestown, PA warehouse. You will verify products against packing slips, inspect shipments for damage, and ensure correct items and quantities are documented.

You will label barcodes, scan into our warehouse system, handle inter‑warehouse transfers, and operate pallet jacks or forklifts as needed. We offer benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Basic warehouse operations knowledge.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Overtime availability may be required.
• Internal certifications to operate powered equipment and to handle DOT-regulated items may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Verify products and match packing slips to P.O. using item and vendor numbers, descriptions and quantity.
• Inspect boxes for damage and resolve discrepancies.
• Create and apply bar code labels and scan into warehouse system.
• Handle incoming inter-warehouse transfers.
• Operate pallet jack or forklift; move product and totes as needed.
• Stage product for put-away and bins/racks.
• Train cross-functionally to support business needs.
• Follow safety guidelines and meet productivity/quality expectations.
