Job summary

Knight-Swift Supply Chain (KSSC) is seeking a Utility Associate to support warehouse operations in Orlando, FL. The role focuses on receiving, storing, and shipping materials with emphasis on inventory accuracy and safety.

The position is full-time, pays $17.74 to $20.84 per hour, and requires a high school diploma and at least one year of warehouse experience. Forklift experience is preferred and training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of related warehouse experience.
• Knowledge of basic manufacturing, warehousing, or shipping operations.

Responsibilities

• Loads raw material or finished product on skid or hand truck.
• Preserves a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and workstations neat.
• Uses tools such as hammers and crowbars to remove strapping and open crates/boxes.
• Assists with product repair.
• Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the work area supervisor.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Follows prescribed safety regulations and OSHA rules.
• Proactively works to assist others in achieving the organization’s objectives.
• Strap and secure goods to pallet.
• Receives, inspects, and sorts new inventory with RF scanner.
• Operates, monitors, and troubleshoots a stretch wrap machine.
