Job summary

TreeHouse Foods, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Utility for the GA Forest Park area, supporting warehouse and yard operations on the 2nd shift. You will safely handle materials, operate powered equipment, and ensure proper storage, loading, and temperature control of products.

Must have a valid CDL, forklift operation ability, and the strength to lift up to 50 lbs. Expect overtime and possible weekend work; temperature range 33°F to 90°F. Join a team focused on safety and operational excellence.

• Flexibility for overtime and weekends as needed.
• Previous Yard Jockey experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound receipts, date and label materials.
• Stock inbound materials in designated locations.
• Load orders and unload trucks as required.
• Operate warehouse and yard equipment (floors, lifts).
• Monitor refrigerated trailer temperatures and report issues.
• Support additional projects while following safety rules.

Job Description

About the Role

The Warehouse Utilities Forklift Driver supports warehouse and yard operations by safely handling materials, operating powered equipment, and ensuring proper storage, loading, and temperature control of products. This role helps maintain efficient logistics while complying with all safety and regulatory requirements.

• Must have a Valid CDL
• Inspect, date, record, and properly mark all inbound receipts
• Stock inbound materials in designated storage locations
• Load completed orders and unload trucks as required
• Operate warehouse and yard equipment, including floor scrubbers, scissor lifts, boom lifts, stand-up forklifts, and yard hostlers
• Perform yard checks, spot trailers for the Tank Yard, and conduct routine audits of refrigerated trailers in the yard and at dock doors
• Monitor and report refrigerated trailer temperatures exceeding 36°F and report equipment or yard truck malfunctions immediately
• Support miscellaneous projects and perform other assigned duties while adhering to company policies, plant rules, safety standards, and regulatory requirements (FDA, OSHA, EPA)

Important Details

This is a full-time permanent role on 2nd shift, which operates from 3:00PM-11:30PM Monday through Friday with some Saturdays.
