Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers is hiring for a 1st shift Warehouse/Backhauler role. You will unload trailers, break down pallets, and move merchandise using forklifts and pallet jacks. This is a fast-paced, full-time position with weekly pay and incentive opportunities.

Top performers earn $25.00/hr with incentive; base pay is $17.00/hr plus incentive. Benefits from day one, paid training, PTO, and 401(k) options are included.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers and break down pallets per receiving procedures.
• Use forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and clamp machines to move merchandise.
• Maneuver pallets from the dock to correct aisles and keep pace with operations.
• Perform equipment inspections and complete required forms.
• Lift varying case weights safely as needed.

Position Overview

As a Warehouse As a Backhauler, you will work in a team of 3-5 team members to unload trailers of food products and break down product to meet warehouse specifications. This is a fast-paced role, perfect for energetic individuals who are highly organized and like to stay active.

Job Description

Top performers will earn $25.00/HR. plus incentive

• Earn $17.00 per hour plus incentive
• WEEKLY PAY
• DIRECT HIRE
• FULL TIME 1ST SHIFT

You will contribute by:

• Receiving product, recording code dates & breaking down pallets of product according to appropriate receiving procedures
• Utilizing forklifts, electric pallet jacks and/or clamp machines to move merchandise
• Maneuvering pallets of product from the dock to correct aisles
• Moving at a fast pace to prevent backlog of trucks and/or product
• Performing equipment inspections & completing appropriate forms
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels

What’s a great way to stay in shape?

• Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Walking on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
