Job summary

Capstone Logistics is hiring Warehouse Unloaders in Alcoa, TN to support inbound freight operations. The role is physically active, unloading freight, organizing product, and ensuring smooth warehouse flow. Shift starts at 6:00 AM and runs until finish, Monday through Friday, with a 1st shift.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, unloading, freight handling, or general labor experience preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior warehouse equipment experience is a plus, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to a high-performance team.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight from trailers safely and efficiently.
• Sort, stage, and palletize products for warehouse operations.
• Move product throughout the facility as needed.
• Assist with freight handling, repacking, and product organization.
• Inspect freight for visible damage and report discrepancies.
• Maintain productivity and safety standards throughout the shift.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Follow all company safety policies and operational procedures.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned by site leadership.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry 25-75 pounds regularly throughout the shift
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to work on concrete floors for extended periods
• Comfortable performing physical labor in a warehouse environment
• Ability to safely perform essential job functions throughout the workday
