Job summary

Dal-Tile, the leading tile and natural stone manufacturer in the U.S., is seeking a Truck Driver to join our team in Kentucky. You will deliver customer orders, unload at various sites, and handle related delivery paperwork while maintaining safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities include operating forklift equipment, performing routine truck maintenance, and supporting warehouse tasks. A HS diploma is required; CDL is preferred and forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL preferred; forklift certification is a plus.
• 3+ years of truck driving experience preferred.

• Delivers and unloads product orders at designated locations.
• Processes delivery paperwork and COD payments.
• Maintains driving record/truck log.
• Ensures routine truck maintenance is performed.
• Performs warehouse tasks in conjunction with deliveries (pulling/assembling orders, loading).
• Assists warehouse staff with unloading and storage of inbound material and shipping tasks.
• Operates forklift equipment.
• May take and enter customer orders as needed.
• Maintains a safe working environment by following safety rules.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptionallocalTruck Driverto join our TEAM! As theTruck Driverwe need someone whodeliver customer orders.This position involves daily use of forkliftand/or crane forklift equipment.

Primary Objective

Delivers customer orders and supports warehouse function in conjunction with delivery activities.

Major Function and Scope

• Delivers and unloads product orders at designated countertop locations, customers and job sites.
• Processes delivery paperwork and COD payments.
• Maintains driving record truck log.
• Ensures routine truck maintenance is performed.
• Performs necessary warehouse tasks in conjunction with deliveries such as pulling/assembling orders and loading delivery truck.
• Provides assistance to warehouse staff in performing normal warehouse duties such as unloading and storing of inbound material and shipping tasks.
• Operates forklift equipment.
• May take and enter customer orders as needed.
• Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required

• HS diploma or equivalent experience; CDL preferred (Commercial Drivers License); must be a Certified Forklift Operator.
• 3+ years previous truck driving experience preferred.
