Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Welcome Center Coordinator to manage the front-end operations for drivers and visitors. The role offers a clean, organized facility environment and attention to safety across the site.

You will coordinate arrivals, monitor logs, and work with management to resolve issues, with a focus on efficiency and courtesy in a fast-paced distribution setting.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in freight coordination / scheduling / planning.
• Must possess excellent time management skills and be very organized.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Positive attitude that sets an example for others.
• Ability to maintain a sense of urgency and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Welcome Center attendant log of arrivals and departures of commercial and private vehicles.
• Check all inbound and outbound seals on vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with management on any welcome center issues.
• Interact with drivers and visitors in a polite professional manner.
• Follow all SOP regarding the checking in and out of freight.
• Monitor CCTV equipment and advise management of occurrences.
• May be required to operate equipment and be equipment certified.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Hourly Pay $18.50 per hour
• Schedule: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm, 12 hour rotating schedule, 3 on, 4 off, working every other weekend. Schedule is given out in advance to plan ahead.

• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) regarding the checking in and out of freight
• Monitor the Closed Caption Television (CCTV) equipment and advise management of any occurrences
• Depending on location, employee may be required to operate equipment and may be required to be equipment certified
• Other duties as assigned
