Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an experienced specialist in Application Development & Maintenance to lead large-scale WMS configurations and lifecycle projects. The role emphasizes SDLC and Agile delivery, problem resolution, and documenting technical decisions across distribution networks.

Responsibilities include configuring changes to WMS, troubleshooting issues, and mentoring teammates while aligning with logistics and supply chain workflows.

Qualifications

• Full lifecycle, large-scale implementations using SDLC and Agile.
• Configure/test/implement changes to WMS applications.
• Troubleshoot application malfunctions and user issues with escalation when needed.
• Document systems, events, and configuration decisions clearly.
• Familiarity with Labor Management concepts.
• Knowledge of RF systems and warehouse equipment.
• Experience with or exposure to test automation frameworks and automated regression.
• Monitoring, alerting, and operational analytics for WMS stability.
• MAWM experience strongly preferred in Manhattan environments.
• Understand warehouse processes and supply chain workflows.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience with full lifecycle, large-scale implementations using SDLC and Agile.
• Ability to configure/test/implement changes to WMS applications to improve warehouse processes.
• Experience troubleshooting application malfunctions and user issues; ability to resolve or escalate effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; document systems, events, and configurations clearly.
• Basic knowledge/understanding of Labor Management concepts.
• Basic knowledge/understanding of RF systems and warehouse equipment (handhelds, printers, access points, etc.).
• Experience with or exposure to test automation frameworks and automated regression approaches.
• Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and operational analytics for WMS stability.
• Prior experience as an engineer/analyst/support lead in Manhattan Warehouse Management System environments; MAWM preferred.
• Proven knowledge of warehouse operational processes and pain points in distribution environments.
