Job summary

United Parcel Service, Inc. seeks a seasonal supervisor to oversee safety, production, and attendance. You will develop and train workgroups, set high standards for accuracy and customer service, and foster a positive team environment across the department.

Responsibilities include relationship-building with staff and management, delivering training, and enforcing safety programs in compliance with policies and regulations. This role emphasizes leadership and ongoing employee development.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred.
• Management experience - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensure employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times, operating in full compliance with department, station, corporate and local government requirements.
• Manages department resources to ensure maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Establishes and promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing involvement and communication.
• Implements employee development plans to support growth of department personnel.
• Ensures orientation, skills and safety training, and regular evaluations for all employees.
• Ensures safety policies are followed at all times.
