Job summary

United Parcel Service, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal supervisor to lead safety, production, and attendance, while developing teams and standards for accuracy and customer service. You will foster a cooperative environment and coordinate with multiple levels of staff.

The role emphasizes training, coaching, and continuous improvement, with a focus on safety policy adherence and high productivity in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs (32 kg).
• Able to work flexible shifts up to 5 days per week.
• Strong spoken and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in fast-paced warehouse operations.
• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent preferred.
• Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensures safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.
• Manages department resources for maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment with proactive communication and collaboration.
• Implements personal development plans to grow department personnel.
• Ensures orientation and training with regular evaluations and coaching.
• Ensures all safety policies are followed.
