Job summary

Misfits Market is hiring a Certified Trainer to train new hires and evaluate initial performance. You will support onboarding, coach peers, and assist in material updates. The role reports to the department manager and requires organizing on-the-floor sessions with hourly associates.

Ideal candidates have HS diploma, experience in training groups, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities. Expect schedule Wednesday through Saturday, with overtime and weekend as needed, in a fast-paced environment.

How you’ll support our operations:

We are seeking an organized individual who wants to grow their career at Misfits Market as a Certified Trainer. This role will support the functional training of new hires, evaluate the initial performance capabilities of trainees, provide peer coaching, and assist in other onboarding activities as needed.

Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm

What you’ll be doing:

• Reports to their department manager, while assisting with training in their home department when needed.
• Conduct departmental on-the-floor training and cross-training for all hourly associates utilizing approved training materials.
• Evaluate performance and make recommendations on performance in line with training material.
• Ensure all required training documentation is completed properly and in a timely manner.
• Act as a friendly point-of-contact to support any new hires.
• Collaborate on identifying necessary training material updates or opportunities.
• Maintains a high level of availability in carrying out training needs on a day to day basis.
