Job summary

Misfits Market is seeking an organized trainer to support our operations and onboarding. You’ll train new hires, evaluate performance, provide peer coaching, and assist in onboarding as needed.

If you are patient, a clear communicator, bilingual in English/Spanish, and able to cover a Sunday–Wednesday 2 PM–1 AM shift, this role offers competitive pay and strong benefits including health coverage, 401(k), and a grocery box credit.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent desirable.
• Experience training peers or groups desirable.
• Experience facilitating training or presentations to groups (5+ people) desirable.
• Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Reports to their department manager, while assisting with training in their home department when needed.
• Conduct departmental on-the-floor training and cross-training for all hourly associates utilizing approved training materials.
• Evaluate performance and make recommendations on performance in line with training material.
• Ensure all required training documentation is completed properly and in a timely manner.
• Act as a friendly point-of-contact to support any new hires.
• Collaborate on identifying necessary training material updates or opportunities.
• Maintains a high level of availability in carrying out training needs on a day to day basis.

We are seeking an organized individual who wants to grow their career at Misfits Market as a Certified Trainer. This role will support the functional training of new hires, evaluate the initial performance capabilities of trainees, provide peer coaching, and assist in other onboarding activities as needed.
