Job summary

Misfits Market is seeking a Certified Trainer to support the onboarding and ongoing training of hourly associates within the operations team. The Trainer will evaluate trainee performance, provide coaching, and ensure proper training documentation is completed, acting as a go-to resource for new hires.

Responsibilities include conducting on-the-floor training, cross-training, and collaborating on curriculum updates while upholding food safety and GDP standards in a fast-paced facility

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent desirable
• Experience training peers or groups desirable
• Experience facilitating training or presentations to groups (5+ people) desirable
• Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) desirable
• Must be self-motivated, highly detail-oriented and organized
• Written and verbal communication skills
• High influencing
• Willing to work overtime and possible weekends as needed
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environment; fast-paced environment
• Strong relationship building skills

• Evaluate performance and make recommendations on performance in line with training material
• Ensure all required training documentation is completed properly and in a timely manner
• Act as a friendly point-of-contact to support any new hires
• Collaborate on identifying necessary training material updates or opportunities
• Maintains a high level of availability in carrying out training needs on a day to day basis
• Diligently adheres to all established facility food safety rules, personal hygiene standards, and GDP expectations daily
• Promptly escalates food safety hazards and takes immediate action to halt production lines if product integrity is compromised or suspected of being compromised

How you’ll support our operations:

We are seeking an organized individual who wants to grow their career at Misfits Market as a Certified Trainer. This role will support the functional training of new hires, evaluate the initial performance capabilities of trainees, provide peer coaching, and assist in other onboarding activities as needed.

Schedules Available:

Sunday - Wednesday = 5 am - 1:30 pm

Sunday - Wednesday = 2 pm to 10:30

Wednesday - Saturday = 5 am - 1:30 pm

Wednesday - Saturday = 2 pm to 10:30 pm

Sunday - Thursday = 5 am to 1:30 pm

Sunday - Thursday = 2 pm to 10:30 pm

What you’ll be doing:
