Job summary

Meyer Distributing in Jasper, IN is seeking Warehouse Operators to load and unload trucks, stock parts in the proper locations, pull stock, and stage products for shipping. Operators run powered equipment (forklift/manlift) and must keep accuracy and safety at the core of every task. The team works Monday–Friday 8:00 am–6:00 pm with rotating Saturday shifts.

Pay rate is $18.00 per hour. Requirements include lifting 100 pounds, repetitive bending, operating forklift/manlift, and obtaining

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 100 pounds and perform repetitive bending.
• Experience operating forklift and manlift.
• Certification in forklift and manlift within 3 months.
• Not afraid of heights.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and distribute products to the appropriate area of the warehouse for restocking.
• Use scanners to place parts in proper bins and pull orders.
• Stock parts on racks in the proper location.
• Fill orders from warehouse stock and distribute items to shipping or to the designated route driver/customer pick-up staging area.
• Place the product on pallets, wrap it in film, and band it using banding equipment.
• Assist in counting and reconciliating physical inventory.
• Keep the warehouse and work area clean and always organized.
• Move products manually and with the assistance of a forklift/manlift.
• Load trucks and secure the product.
• All other duties as assigned.
