Meyer Distributing in Jasper, IN is seeking a Warehouse Operator to unload trucks, stock parts, pull orders, and operate forklift/manlift equipment to ensure accurate inventory and timely shipping. This role requires physicality and attention to safety.

The position offers a stable 5-day schedule (about 40 hours weekly) with an hourly rate of $16.50 and opportunities for pay increases within the first year.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to engage in repetitious bending and lifting.
• Ability to operate forklift and manlift equipment.
• Must obtain forklift and manlift certification within 3 months.
• Must not be afraid of heights.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and distribute products to the appropriate area.
• Use scanners to place parts in proper bins and pull orders.
• Stock parts on racks in proper location.
• Fill orders and prepare items for shipping or pickup.
• Move products manually and with forklift/manlift assistance.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and follow safety procedures.
