Job summary

Shamrock Foods Company in Marana, AZ is seeking a Night shift Warehouse Thrower/Inductor for outbound operations. You will sort and track pallets, operate a forklift, and ensure accurate pallet movement during the night shift.

Ideal candidates have a GED or equivalent, can lift up to 50 pounds, and work in temperature-controlled zones from -15 to ambient. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma; or 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent.
• Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Work in temperature-controlled zones from -15 F to ambient.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sort pallets in sorting area for inbound/outbound shifts.
• Remove cardboard and trash from sorting area.
• Load pallets into trailers and track pallets being sold to third parties.
• Document pallet details and routinely use forklift to load, sort and stack pallets.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned.

Description

Night shift starts at 7pm and goes until finish

The Pallet Sorter will be responsible for sorting and tracking pallets for the Inbound department.

• Sort through pallets in sorting area for inbound department shifts
• Remove cardboard and trash from sorting area
• Load stacks of pallets into trailers
• Track pallets being sold to third parties
• Document and maintain a log of pallet detailsRoutinely use forklift to load, sort, and stack pallets
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in various temperature-controlled zones ranging from -15 F to ambient temperature
• Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends and holidays.
