Job summary

LGG INDUSTRIAL is a national distributor of hoses, gaskets, and conveyor products with locations across the United States and Canada. The Warehouse Technician will manage activities to meet customer expectations and company goals in a production/warehouse setting.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, receiving shipments, stocking, picking, packing, shipping via UPS/FedEx/LTL, inventory tasks, and supporting daily operations. Competitive compensation and health benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1-3 years of related warehousing or production experience.
• Ability to safely drive a Company truck or other mechanical equipment.
• High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must have a mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn about how our products are produced on equipment.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Ability to work overtime, as required.
• Ability to work nights and weekends, as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.
• Receive incoming shipments into inventory, post in online system and place items in warehouse.
• Identify any missing, lost or damaged materials and notify the supervisor.
• Pick product in warehouse and prepare items for pick up, delivery or shipping.
• Package and ship through UPS, Fed Ex, and LTL Motor Freight.
• Assist with staging local shipments for VMI delivery and Hot Shots.
• Handles customer pickups.
• Make recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvements.
• Assist with physical inventory.
• Properly label and store received goods for future identification and retrieval.
