Job summary

PromptCare in Colchester, VT is seeking a part-time Warehouse Technician to manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including shipping/receiving, cleaning, testing and repair of equipment, inventory control and compliance. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• HME equipment repair experience preferred.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Equipment manufacturer repair certification preferred.
• Mechanically inclined and able to learn.
• Good verbal/communication/organizational skills.
• Strong technical skills with a solid knowledge base.

Responsibilities

• Picks, packages, and ships product/equipment via UPS, FedEx, and couriers.
• Tag equipment, bag and stock into patient-ready areas per procedures.
• Maintain clean warehouse appearance by empting trash, recycling, and sweeping.
• Track and locate lost packages shipped from warehouse.
• Inspect shelves for stock, rotation, and removal of out-of-date product.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities, Included But Not Limited To

• Picks, packages, and ships product/equipment following process for UPS, Fed Ex, and couriers for timely delivery
• Tags equipment appropriately, bags and stocks into patient-ready areas per Policies and Procedures
• Consistently empties trash, empties recycling, straightens stock and sweeps floor to maintain clean warehouse appearance
• Tracks and locates lost packages shipped from warehouse
• Inspects all shelves to ensure all product is stocked, rotated and out-of-date product is removed
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the building
• Other duties assigned

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk, lift, open filing cabinets and bend as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies of a minimum weight of 25 pounds but no more than 50 pounds.
