Job summary

Health System Services Ltd. is seeking a Warehouse Technician in Victor, NY to keep medical equipment clean, organized, and ready for patient use. You’ll work with the Biomedical team to maintain equipment and assist with deliveries, while ensuring safety and infection-control standards are followed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and at least 1 year of warehouse experience. Strong attention to detail and customer-facing skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse or related experience preferred.
• Home Medical Equipment (HME) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize medical equipment following infection-control procedures.
• Stock, organize, and maintain equipment throughout the warehouse.
• Track and monitor sterilized equipment for safety and readiness.
• Assist with equipment maintenance with Biomedical team.
• Prepare equipment for Delivery Technicians per tickets.
• Inspect equipment for cleanliness and functionality.
• Assist with deliveries and setup of oxygen and other medical equipment as needed.
• Provide basic equipment repair support when needed.
• Provide backup for on-call services during emergencies or time-sensitive situations.
• Deliver friendly and professional customer service in patients’ homes and facilities.
• Educate customers on proper use of equipment when needed.
• Follow safety programs and motor vehicle laws while driving.

What You’ll Do

• Clean and sanitize medical equipment and supplies while following infection control procedures.
• Stock, organize, and maintain equipment and supplies throughout the warehouse.
• Track and monitor sterilized equipment to ensure it is safe and ready for operational use.
• Work alongside the Biomedical team to assist with equipment maintenance.
• Pull and prepare medical equipment and supplies for Delivery Technicians based on delivery tickets and orders.
• Inspect equipment to ensure it is clean, functional, and patient‑ready.
• Assist with deliveries and the setup of oxygen and other medical equipment as needed.
• Provide minor equipment repair support when needed.
• Provide backup support for on‑call services, including critical deliveries or repairs during emergencies or time‑sensitive situations.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service in patients’ homes and nursing facilities as needed.
• Educate and instruct customers on the proper use of medical equipment and supplies when needed.
• Follow all required safety programs and applicable motor vehicle laws while demonstrating safe driving practices.
• Support the team with other duties as needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and live our organizational values.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 8:30am - 5:00pm, full‑time hours

Compensation

• $17.00 - $20.00 per hour, dependent on experience
