Job summary

Hawthorne Cat, a long-standing family-owned company in Hawaii, is hiring a Warehouse Person in Waipahu to support parts orders, stocking, and hose assembly. The role requires forklift operation, shipping/receiving know-how, and adherence to safety rules.

Responsibilities include inventory counts, truck loading, and occasional local deliveries. Candidates should have a valid driver's license and PC skills; forklift certification or ability to obtain within 60 days is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Drivers License with a good driving record.
• Must have PC skills.
• Must be forklift certified or able to be certified within 60 days of hire.
• Must have an understanding of warehouse duties.
• Must have a complete understanding of shipping and receiving procedures.
• Must have a complete understanding of freight recovery procedures.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fills parts orders from stock and delivers them to the designated in-house area.
• Stocks incoming parts shipments and customer returns.
• Ensures items leaving the warehouse are recorded on parts documents and signed.
• Counts inventory as required.
• Loads and unloads trucks and containers.
• Operates material handling equipment.
• Makes occasional pickups and deliveries using the company vehicle.
• Ensures parts are identified and protected from rust.
• Assembles hydraulic hose fittings per Caterpillar specs and validates fittings.
• Invoicing hose customers with labor charges.
