Betacom-Incorporated is seeking a Warehouse Technician in Nashville, TN to handle receiving, shipping, storing and tracking of equipment and materials in our warehouses. The role requires operating forklifts, driving Box Trucks, maintaining accurate records and stocking supplies.

A valid driver's license and 1 year of warehouse experience are expected, with CDL preferred. The position is full-time, on-site in Nashville with a focus on safety, documentation accuracy and timely material readiness

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of warehouse operations experience.
  • Must have good record-keeping skills and be detail-oriented.
  • Capable of operating forklift and hand operated pallet jack. Forklift certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Loads and/or unloads equipment/materials during receiving and shipping.
  • Record materials entering and leaving the warehouse; verify orders are accurate.
  • Submit periodic material orders to keep stock at predetermined levels.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization; ensure supplies are stocked.
  • Assist with product assembly as needed.

OVERVIEW:

Warehouse Technician is responsible for receiving, shipping, storing, and tracking equipment/materials kept in Betacom Warehouses.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Loads and/or unloads equipment/materials while it is being received or when it is beingshipped.
  • Record materials and/or equipment entering and leaving the warehouse. Confirm that ordersare accurate.
  • Submit material order form to Warehouse Manager on an assigned periodic basis to keep stock atpre- determinedlevels.
  • Submit warehouse order (paper towels, toiletries, soaps, etc.) form to Warehouse Manager onan assigned periodic basis to keep warehouse supply stock up to pre-determinedlevels.
  • Keep warehouse, yard, parking lot and surrounding area is clear of trash anddebris.
  • As required, pick up equipment/materials from customerlocations.
  • Ensure spares and/or bad customer components are tagged properly and returned to customerwithin requiredtimeframe.
  • As required, pick up/deliver equipment/materials to other Betacom warehouselocations.
  • Ensure that yard dumpsters are unloaded and brought back to property in a timelymanner.
  • Ensure field crews have material ready for their scheduledassignments.
  • Assist with product assembly, asneeded.
  • Other duties asassigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Working knowledge of basic hand tools, mechanical equipment, and electro-mechanicalequipment
  • Self-motivated and able to learnquickly.
  • Capable of operating forklift and hand operated pallet jack. Able to obtain forklift certification within90 days ofemployment.
  • Must have good record-keeping skills and be detailoriented.
  • Good oral and written communicationskills.
  • Ability to drive Box Truck and 3/4 ton truck pulling a flatbed trailer.
  • Minimum 1 year of warehouse operations experience.
  • Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License (a must) and reliable transportation to and fromwork.
  • Class A or B CDL license (preferred)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High Scholl Diploma or equivalent (GED) or equivalent combination of education andexperience
