Betacom Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Technician at Indian Trails in Charlotte, NC. This full-time, hourly position involves receiving, storing, and shipping equipment and materials, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading, logging inbound and outbound items, placing orders with the Warehouse Manager, keeping the yard clean, and supporting field crews. Valid driver's license and forklift/box truck experience are important; CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1 year of warehouse operations experience.
  • Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
  • Class A or B CDL license preferred.
  • Able to obtain forklift certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Ability to drive Box Truck.
  • Must have good record-keeping skills and be detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Loads and unloads equipment/materials during receiving and shipping.
  • Record materials entering and leaving the warehouse and verify orders.
  • Submit material orders to Warehouse Manager to maintain stock levels.
  • Keep warehouse, yard, parking lot and surrounding area clear of trash.
  • Assist with product assembly as needed.

Warehouse Technician - Indian Trails, NC

Full-time Regular Hourly Field Charlotte, NC, US

Salary Range: $18.00 To $21.00 Hourly

Note: Driving Requirement - experience driving a 3/4 ton truck pulling a flat bed trailer and experience driving a box truck picking up / deliver equipment. OVERVIEW:

Warehouse Technician is responsible for receiving, shipping, storing, and tracking equipment/materials kept in Betacom Warehouses.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Loads and/or unloads equipment/materials while it is being received or when it is beingshipped.
  • Record materials and/or equipment entering and leaving the warehouse. Confirm that ordersare accurate.
  • Submit material order form to Warehouse Manager on an assigned periodic basis to keep stock atpre- determinedlevels.
  • Submit warehouse order (paper towels, toiletries, soaps, etc.) form to Warehouse Manager onan assigned periodic basis to keep warehouse supply stock up to pre-determinedlevels.
  • Keep warehouse, yard, parking lot and surrounding area is clear of trash anddebris.
  • As required, pick up equipment/materials from customerlocations.
  • Ensure spares and/or bad customer components are tagged properly and returned to customerwithin requiredtimeframe.
  • As required, pick up/deliver equipment/materials to other Betacom warehouselocations.
  • Ensure that yard dumpsters are unloaded and brought back to property in a timelymanner.
  • Ensure field crews have material ready for their scheduledassignments.
  • Assist with product assembly, asneeded.
  • Other duties asassigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Working knowledge of basic hand tools, mechanical equipment, and electro-mechanicalequipment
  • Self-motivated and able to learnquickly.
  • Capable of operating forklift and hand operated pallet jack. Able to obtain forklift certification within90 days ofemployment.
  • Must have good record-keeping skills and be detailoriented.
  • Good oral and written communicationskills.
  • Ability to drive BoxTruck.
  • Minimum 1 year of warehouse operations experience.
  • Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License (a must) and reliable transportation to and fromwork.
  • Class A or B CDL license (preferred)
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High Scholl Diploma or equivalent (GED) or equivalent combination of education andexperience
