Job summary

TW Metals, LLC. is seeking an Operations employee for a warehouse environment focused on material handling, staging, and order fulfillment.

You will verify material specifications, operate cutting equipment, and move materials using powered equipment while maintaining safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include processing work orders, documenting in the ERP system, and supporting general operations to keep workflows efficient.

Qualifications

• 1–3 months of related experience or training.
• Ability to learn and safely operate powered industrial equipment.
• Proficient in reading measuring devices (tape measures, micrometers).
• Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide.
• Ability to learn and navigate an ERP system.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Material Handling & Staging: Safely prepare, stage, and organize materials for distribution, including deburring, packing, receiving, and shipping.
• Order Fulfillment: Pull materials from stock and accurately fill sales orders.
• Verification & Documentation: Confirm material specifications, quality, quantity, dimensions, and tolerances; record information in ERP system or job tickets.
• Machine Operation: Operate cutting equipment such as Chop Saw, Band Saw, Plate Saw, Shear Machine, Waterjet, and Laser Machine to process materials per work orders.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered industrial equipment (forklift, side loader, Combilift, overhead crane and order pickers) to move and stage materials.
• Quality & Safety: Follow all safety protocols and maintain quality standards during material handling and machine operation. Maintains a clean and well organized work area.
• General Operations Support: Assist with department clean-up, routine equipment checks, and other tasks to ensure smooth workflow.
