Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC is hiring a Warehouse Technician in Huntington Beach, CA. You will support warehouse operations, prepare orders, manage inventory, assemble equipment, and assist with product testing while adhering to safety policies.

The role emphasizes accurate order fulfillment, safe handling of materials, and readiness for audits. It requires basic math, the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and experience with inventory systems and Excel is preferred.

Qualifications

• GED/High School Diploma is required.
• Tow Motor Certification is preferred.
• On-the-job training of about three months is expected.
• Experience with inventory systems and Excel is preferred.
• Chemical handling and safety compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prep orders for shipping with labels and bill of lading when needed.
• Measure, inspect and label lining materials to ensure quality.
• Test new equipment and assist with demos/testing.
• Verify incoming shipments and report shortages to supervisor.
• Maintain month-end inventory counts and update spreadsheets.
• Support the Technical Manager with in-house demonstrations and testing.
• Re-package chemicals safely using SDS procedures.
• Follow all safety policies and keep the workspace clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned and maintain readiness for audits.
