Job summary

Vortex Companies is hiring a Warehouse Technician in Huntington Beach, CA to support warehouse operations including order preparation, inventory management, equipment assembly, and testing. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and a proactive approach to handling materials and shipments.

The ideal candidate will have a GED or high school diploma, basic mechanical aptitude, inventory systems/Excel experience, and the ability to operate a tow motor.

Qualifications

• GED/High School Diploma.
• Satisfactorily complete 3 months on-the-job training.
• Tow Motor Certification.
• Inventory systems/Excel experience preferred.
• Chemical handling and safety compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prep orders for shipping including Labels and Bill of Lading when necessary.
• Measure, Inspect and label Lining Materials
• Test New Equipment
• Assemble Vacuum Pumps
• Verifying incoming shipments and report to Supervisor any shortages.
• Responsible for month end inventory count as well as Inventory Spreadsheet.
• Assist Technical Manager in house demos/testing.
• Re-packaging chemicals to smaller containers, using safety precautions described in the SDS sheets.
• Work in a safe manner at all times by following the company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean work environment by performing cleaning duties when required.
• Complete assigned duties.
• Perform other related duties incidental to work described herein.
