Job summary

HIS COMPANY INC is seeking a Warehouse Technician II in a high-volume Austin facility. You will pull orders, receive and ship goods, label items, and help train teammates while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates will perform 5S, follow SOP/SOW procedures, and comply with OSHA EH&S and DOT rules. Strong English communication and team spirit are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• IATA and CFR49 Certificate of completion.
• Forklift certification and training for all types.
• Knowledge of OSHA and EH&S requirements.
• 2+ years warehouse operations experience.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Reading/writing in English required.
• Warehouse management system experience (TWL) with an RF gun preferred.

Responsibilities

• High accuracy in order pulling, shipping and receiving of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Contribute to 5S practices (sort, straighten, shine, standardize, sustain).
• Cross-train other employees as required.
• Operate all necessary warehouse equipment per safety SOPs.
• Follow DOT regulations and SOP/SOW guidelines.
• Facilitate two-way communication with coworkers and supervision.
• Report misconduct or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Support other duties as assigned.

Summary/Purpose of the Position:The Warehouse Technician II is responsible for various warehouse tasks throughout the day to include order pulling, product receiving, shipping, labeling in a higher volume warehouse. This Technician will need to have clear communication skills, be a problem solver and be a team player that will also support the training of other team members.
