Job summary

TestEquity in Corona, CA is seeking a Warehouse Technician I to perform order pulling, product receiving, shipping, packaging, labeling and inventory tracking. The role supports ISO quality assurance and demands accurate handling of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.

Requires a High School diploma or GED, 2+ years warehousing experience, TWL RF gun familiarity, and HazMat certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years warehousing experience in industrial, semiconductor, or distribution.
• WMS experience (TWL) with RF gun preferred.
• 2+ years inventory processing, cycle counting and reconciliation.
• HazMat certification or willingness to complete within 90 days.
• May require valid driver’s license and DMV checks.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to workplace changes and be reliable.

Responsibilities

• Accuracy in order pulling, shipping, and receiving of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Prepares freight bills and monitors accuracy of completion.
• Works with carriers to ensure on-time, safe, economical delivery.
• Ensures orders ship to correct customer location, minimizing spill rates.
• Monitors bin locations, shelf life and FIFO; conduct counts.
• Maintain forklift certificate compliance.
• Maintain HazMat / DOT / IATA training where applicable.
• Follow federal/state shipping/receiving compliance.
• Assist with ISO quality assurance.
• Handle preventive maintenance and incident reporting for safety.
• Facilitate two-way communication with coworkers and supervision.
• Wear safety gear and monitor warehouse safety and access.
• Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $22.00 - $23.00 Hourly

Summary/Purpose of the Position

The Warehouse Technician I is responsible for order pulling, product receiving, shipping, packaging, labeling, inventory tracking, and other warehouse related tasks.

Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities

• Accuracy in order pulling, shipping, and receiving of hazardous and non-hazardous materials
• Prepares freight bills and monitors accuracy of completion
• Works closely with freight carriers and delivery services to ensure fastest, safest, and most economical on-time delivery of products
• Ensures orders are shipped to proper customer location, minimizing spill rates
• Monitors bin locations, shelf life and FIFO, inventory counting, and cycle counts
• Must maintain valid certificate of completion for forklift operations
• Must maintain valid certificate of completion for DOT / HazMat 49 CRF 172.704 (Hazardous Material Transportation) and IATA, if applicable
• Must follow all federal and state compliance requirements in shipping and receiving products
• Assist with ISO quality assurance
• Responsible for preventive maintenance and incident reporting for warehouse safety
• Must facilitate two-way communications with coworkers and supervisory personnel to ensure full customer satisfaction
• Must wear appropriate safety gear while on duty
• Must monitor warehouse safety and personnel access to warehouse area
• Maintain a good attendance and punctuality
• Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• 2+ years warehousing experience in an industrial, semi-conductor, and/or distribution industry
• Warehouse management system experience (TWL experience with an RF gun is preferred)
• 2+ years inventory processing, cycle counting and reconciliation
• HazMat Certified or willing to complete the necessary training within 90 days of hire
• May be required to possess a valid driver’s license and be subject to periodic DMV checks

• Must be reliable, dependable, punctual, maintain good attendance and conscientious about production performance

Physical Requirements

Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
