Job summary

TestEquity is seeking a Warehouse Technician I in Austin, TX to support order pulling, receiving, shipping, labeling, and inventory control. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and ISO quality practices while coordinating with carriers and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely delivery.

The candidate should have 2+ years of warehousing experience, TWL/WMS familiarity, and a valid forklift or HazMat readiness posture.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years warehousing experience in an industrial, semiconductor, and/or distribution industry.
• Warehouse management system experience (TWL with an RF gun preferred).
• 2+ years inventory processing, cycle counting and reconciliation.
• HazMat certification or willingness to complete within 90 days of hire.
• May be required to possess a valid driver’s license and be subject to DMV checks.

Responsibilities

• Accurate order pulling, shipping, and receiving of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Prepares freight bills and monitors accuracy of completion.
• Coordinates with freight carriers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensures orders ship to correct customer locations and minimize spill rates.
• Maintains inventory counts, FIFO, bin locations, and shelf life.
• Follows safety protocols and wears required safety gear; reports incidents.

Summary/Purpose of the Position

The Warehouse Technician I is responsible for order pulling, product receiving, shipping, packaging, labeling, inventory tracking, and other warehouse related tasks.

Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities

Accuracy in order pulling, shipping, and receiving of hazardous and non-hazardous materialsPrepares freight bills and monitors accuracy of completionWorks closely with freight carriers and delivery services to ensure fastest, safest, and most economical on-time delivery of productsEnsures orders are shipped to proper customer location, minimizing spill ratesMonitors bin locations, shelf life and FIFO, inventory counting, and cycle countsMust maintain valid certificate of completion for forklift operationsMust maintain valid certificate of completion for DOT / HazMat 49 CRF 172.704 (Hazardous Material Transportation) and IATA, if applicableMust follow all federal and state compliance requirements in shipping and receiving productsAssist with ISO quality assuranceResponsible for preventive maintenance and incident reporting for warehouse safetyMust facilitate two-way communications with coworkers and supervisory personnel to ensure full customer satisfactionMust wear appropriate safety gear while on dutyMust monitor warehouse safety and personnel access to warehouse areaMaintain a good attendance and punctualityOther duties as assigned
