Job summary

Wolverine Fuels is seeking a Warehouse Technician to manage daily receiving, stocking and inventory accuracy at our Fossil Rock site. You will maintain records, process paperwork, and support monthly inventories while keeping a clean, organized warehouse.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, cycle counts, and issuing parts, with periodic overtime and rotating shifts. A high school diploma and basic data entry pay are required, along with strong teamwork and safety focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Computer data entry skills.
• Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
• Capable of operating equipment safely and efficiently.
• General knowledge of mining equipment, parts and tools preferred.
• Capable of repeatedly lifting 50 lbs. chest high.
• Possess valid driver''s license.
• Strong written and verbal skills with crews, supervisors, managers, coordinators, production vendors and inspectors, providing task completion.
• Produce consistent quality work, prioritize, and complete jobs in determined time frames.
• Must be a self-starter; work well with teams as well as independently.

Responsibilities

• Process receiving paperwork and correctly file.
• Compile reports on stock use, inventory adjustments and location changes.
• Issue parts and supplies.
• Janitorial and other surface related tasks as necessary.
• Adhere to housekeeping standards for the warehouse and building.
• Understand Emergency PO procedures.

Warehouse Technician - Fossil Rock

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE

This position is primarily responsible for the day-to-day function of receiving, issuing and securing warehouse items. Maintain an accurate record system for inventory control and ensure that proper transactions are recorded for all material movements. Participate in taking monthly inventories. Keep the warehouse in an orderly state and makes sure all supplies are stored in their proper location.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Be an active participant with the Behavior Based Safety program.

Receive, stock and inventory all incoming parts and supplies.

Notify persons requesting inventory of its arrival.

Unload freight using forklifts and front-end loaders.

Process receiving paperwork and correctly file.

Compiles reports on use of stock, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records and location changes.

Issue parts and supplies.

Janitorial and other surface related tasks as necessary.

Rotating shift schedule required - 7 day operation.

Periodic overtime required.

Backup mine monitoring system.

Answer phones on off shifts.

Adhere to all housekeeping standards for the warehouse and other building assigned to the warehouse.

Understand Emergency PO procedures.
