Job Description

The Warehouse Technician will process orders, prepare items for shipment, receive incoming inventory, and may also be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting returned equipment, cleaning room maintenance, stocking and staging inventory, and inventory maintenance. The technician assists the supervisor or manager in pulling and loading equipment for delivery, assembling equipment when necessary, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring HIPAA compliance. Employees may also be requested to deliver equipment to patients and/or facilities.

Essential Functions And Job Responsibilities
  • Perform data entry, update shipping information, and track orders.
  • Complete clerical tasks including faxing, scanning, filing, and phone calls.
  • Prepare shipping containers, create labels, and verify outgoing packages against invoices.
  • Receive and process shipments, document returned items, and clean equipment following guidelines.
  • Adhere to PPE, infection control, and hazardous materials procedures.
  • Maintain a clean warehouse environment and assist in inventory management.
  • Deliver equipment when requested, following driving policies and completing driver training.
  • Educate customers on proper use and care of equipment.
  • Complete patient visit reports, assist with equipment issues, and perform routine maintenance.
  • Report hazards, incidents, and participate in on-call responsibilities.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and complete required training.
Skills and Abilities
  • Equipment repair and maintenance skills.
  • Problem-solving with attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Ability to lift up to 85 pounds regularly, 100 pounds frequently, and 160 pounds occasionally.
  • Perform physical labor involving bending, crouching, and moving equipment.
  • Work may involve long periods of sitting, driving, and exposure to unsanitary or hazardous conditions.
  • Must be able to drive independently and travel as needed.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to demonstrate empathy.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Related experience in manual labor, military, or equipment repair is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
  • For senior roles, two years of related experience and one year of specific job experience are required.
