Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Technician! You will be supporting our Recycling Appliance Program. Warehouse and support staff ensure smooth delivery and pickup of inventory and equipment while adhering to program, practice, and operations guidelines.

Successful candidates will reside in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

• Learn the techniques and process to demanufacture appliances according to EPA standards
• Assist in the baler operation
• Unload appliances from truck into the warehouse using appropriate safety techniques
• Sort components into appropriate recycle bins and categories
• Travel locally or regionally on an occasional basis
• Work with drivers on occasion to pick up scheduled appliance routes
• Inspect products for defects and damages
• Make deliveries and pickups in a safe and timely manner
• Operate general hand tools, pallet jack, and hand truck
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor

In this exciting career opportunity, you will have:

• Be at least 21 years of age

Physical Nature of the Job:

• Lifting heavy refrigerators using dollies, team lifts, or other methods
• Work in all climates
• Bending, crouching, kneeling

Type of Work:

• Ability to work in-person in the warehouse
• Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

This is a safety-sensitive position and may include fieldwork (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), warehouse work, or driving on behalf of the company. Individuals offered a conditional employment must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and consent to a motor vehicle report to verify a satisfactory driving record. Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing employment requirement.

Compensation Range: Hourly. Salary is determined based on internal equity, market data, applicant’s skills, experience, degrees, and certifications.
