What you'll do:

• Validate wires for incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Manage wire inventory with routine checks and location inquiries.
• Cut power trunk and smaller gauge wire using specially designed wire spooling machines.
• Load and unload large spools using forklift equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Inspect wire shipments for damages, loss, or defects.
• Read data lines on the wire to validate footage accurately.
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, and forklift in loading and unloading operations.
• Stock shelves in the warehouse.
• Pull materials and distribute them to designated areas.
• Prepare wire orders for shipment according to pick tickets and customer requirements.
• Package and ship items following packaging guidelines and best practices.
• Provide accurate reports on receipt and distribution of materials.
• Travel to other markets for delivery or pickup of materials as needed.

Who we are looking for:

• At least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license (CDL preferred)
• Experience in warehousing or inventory management (preferred)
• Ability to operate utility trucks, equipment, and hand tools safely; forklift experience preferred
• Ability to read data lines on wire to validate footage
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and in all weather conditions

Compensation: $17-$19 per hour, depending on experience.
