Job summary

Imperative Chemical Partners is hiring a Warehouse Technician for our Midland, Texas facility. You will be responsible for organizing, safeguarding, and maintaining the site in line with HSE standards, handling receiving, storage, staging, and preparation of materials and finished goods for shipment.

Key tasks include using an iPad to track work, operating forklifts and other equipment, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year in a warehouse or production support environment.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and oral instructions including safety rules.
• Strong mathematical skills and ability to perform unit conversions.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, skid loaders).
• Forklift operation certified (in-house training may be provided).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Team-oriented with ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical inventory counts in coordination with management.
• Use company-issued iPad to manage, track, and complete assigned tasks.
• Receive inbound materials from suppliers and other facilities with accurate labeling and documentation.
• Stock received and in-house produced materials with proper labeling and safe storage.
• Safely move, stage, and organize materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Transfer in-house produced products into drums, totes, or other containers for order fulfillment.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and bulk tankers, completing checklists and weight-to-volume conversions.
• Assist with blending operation when needed and as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and yard; dispose of waste and damaged pallets properly.
• Report issues promptly to Supervisor.

SUMMARY

The Warehouse Technician is responsible for the organization, safety, and upkeep of the Midland facility in compliance with HSE standards. Primary responsibilities include receiving, storing, staging, and preparing materials and finished products for shipment, as well as loading unloading trucks and trailers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct physical inventory counts in coordination with management.
• Use company-issued iPad to manage, track, and complete assigned tasks.
• Receive inbound materials from suppliers and other company facilities, ensuring accurate labeling, documentation, and proper storage.
• Stock received and in-house produced materials, ensuring containers are clean, properly labeled, and compliant with standards.
• Safely move, stage, and organize materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, etc., and other powered industrial equipment.
• Transfer in-house produced products into drums, totes, or other containers for order fulfillment.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and bulk tankers, including completing operational checklists and performing weight-to-volume conversions.
• Assist with blending operation when needed and as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse, yard, and storage area by disposing of waste, damaged pallets, and other discarded items safely.
• Report issues promptly to Supervisor.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a warehouse or production support environment.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and oral instructions, including safety rules, SOPs, and material identification.
• Strong mathematical skills (basic arithmetic and unit conversions).
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, skid loaders).
• Forklift operation certified (in-house training required).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to safely lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds, including handling empty 55-gallon drums.
• Ability to work weekends, overtime, and in variable environmental conditions (heat, cold, weather exposure).
• Frequent standing, climbing, bending, and lifting (approximately 95% of the work performed on forklift).
