Job description

Our client is actively seeking an experienced individual to join their Warehousing team at their facility in Marcus Hook, PA. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing setting, with a preference for those who have operated a forklift. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with a global company specializing in thermoplastic and petrochemical production.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Serve as the primary liaison between the plant and materials inventory.
2. Receive materials and conduct inspections before entering receipts into the system.
3. Bin materials in designated warehouse areas.
4. Pick and issue materials to designated users.
5. Assemble and distribute material kits for maintenance.
6. Prepare equipment and documentation for shipments to third parties.
7. Support inventory optimization by reviewing min/max levels and reorder points.
8. Analyze inventory to identify obsolete or slow-moving items for potential recovery.
9. Verify inventory counts through cycle counting and investigate discrepancies.
10. Coordinate with Maintenance & Reliability teams to ensure proper documentation for repairs.
11. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
12. Manage site logistics and material staging areas, including open issue areas.
13. Expedite material deliveries as needed.
14. Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
15. Demonstrate TEO characteristics: Spirit of Service, Purpose, Objectivity, Creativity, Maturity, Positivity, Mobility.

Requirements:

1. Associate's degree in Business or 1-5 years of procurement or warehouse experience.
2. Willingness to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.
3. Ability to frequently lift at least 50 lbs.
4. Strong communication and active listening skills.
5. Ability to work independently and foster collaborative relationships.
6. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management.
7. Commitment to continuous improvement.
8. Working knowledge of SAP.
9. Ability to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment.
10. Certified forklift operator or ability to obtain certification within 30 days; valid driver’s license required.
