Job description

Prince Telecom is currently seeking an entry-level Warehouse Technician to join our team!

Hourly rate: $17-$18/hr (based on experience)

Type: Full-time

Hours: 1st shift

What you'll do:

• Receive and unload incoming material and compare information on packing slips with
  purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipment
• Sort, count, package, label, and unpack inventory
• Inspect shipments for damages, loss, or defects
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading material and
  equipment
• Stock shelves
• Pull spools/materials and distribute them to their designated area
• Prepare orders for shipment in accordance with the pick ticket and customer
  requirements
• Package and ship in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted
  methods/practices
• Provide accurate reporting on receipt of materials and distribution of purchased items
• Travel to other markets using a company vehicle/box truck may be required for delivery/pick up of materials

Who we are looking for:

• Minimum 18 years old with high school diploma or equivalent
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Valid Driver's License (required)
• Warehouse experience (preferred)
• Forklift experience a plus
• Basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment
  in a safe manner
• Basic computer and mathematical skills
• Able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes, weighing up to 75
  pounds
• Able to climb up and down ladders, scaffolds and other objects with variable
  heights
• Able to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.
• Able to work as needed (overtime, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies or on-
  call)
• Able to maintain a safe work environment
• Able to work in all weather conditions
