Job summary

MPW Industrial Services seeks a dependable Warehouse Technician to support MPW’s Corporate Warehouses by receiving, storing, labeling, issuing, and maintaining materials while assisting internal and external customers.

This role emphasizes safe, organized operations, accurate inventory, and effective communication with supervisors and coworkers. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory systems, plus forklift experience, helps you excel.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 1–2 years warehouse experience and 6–12 months mechanical experience.
  • Knowledge of warehouse procedures, equipment, and inventory processes; familiarity with Microsoft Office, email, and inventory systems.
  • Forklift experience and ability to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain work areas in a neat, orderly, and clean manner.
  • Perform tasks safely and efficiently; follow established procedures.
  • Assist internal and external customers as needed.
  • Receive materials and store, label, and file properly.
  • Pull and issue parts to customers.
  • Conduct inventory spot checks and correct discrepancies.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities.
  • Participate in departmental physical inventories.
  • Follow inventory procedures for materials handling.
  • Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment as required.
  • Use inventory systems, Microsoft Office, and email to support operations.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.

We’re looking for a dependable Warehouse Technician to help facilitate the operations of MPW’s Corporate Warehouses. This position supports warehouse operations by receiving, storing, labeling, issuing, and maintaining materials while assisting internal and external customers as needed.

What You’ll Need
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 1–2 years of warehouse operations experience and 6–12 months of mechanical experience.
  • Knowledge of warehouse procedures, mechanical equipment, and inventory processes, along with experience using Microsoft Office, email, and inventory control computer systems.
  • Forklift experience and the ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
  • Effective oral and written interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to carry and lift up to 75 pounds and bend, stoop, squat, sit, and maneuver as required to perform warehouse duties.
  • Ability to maintain the alertness and acuity necessary to safely perform assigned responsibilities.
