Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid forklift certification (required).
  • Two or more years of experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical environment, including handling large equipment and mechanical disassembly using hand and power tools.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely use hand and power tools.
  • Ability to lift and safely move heavy equipment up to 100 lbs.

Warehouse & Equipment Specialist is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse while supporting the handling of diagnostic imaging equipment. This position receives and unloads incoming equipment, safely moves and stores high-value medical systems, mechanically disassembles equipment as directed by the Service Manager, and delivers equipment to customer locations for installation by Field Service Engineers. This position does not perform field service or equipment installation.

Responsibilities
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, bales, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and packaging machines safely.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, including large, high-value equipment using forklift and other equipment.
  • Operate a forklift and assist with moving heavy or oversized items within warehouse.
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming parts and equipment shipment to ensure accuracy and completeness of deliveries.
  • Uncrate incoming equipment and prepare it for storage, loading for delivery to customer site, or other use.
  • Apply company equipment identification tags in accordance with established procedures.
  • Conduct inventory of incoming equipment to maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare and package outbound shipments.
  • Deliver equipment in enclosed trailer to customer sites for installation by Field Service Engineers.
  • Deliver and remove equipment and parts from customer or company locations as needed.
  • Mechanically disassemble diagnostic imaging equipment as directed by the Service Manager for evaluation, recycling, or final disposition.
  • Keep the work environment safe and clean by organizing shelves, pallet areas, and workstations along with performing regular cleaning checks.
  • Remove and properly dispose of trash and unwanted or obsolete equipment, including transporting to designated waste or recycling facilities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the premises.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and company procedures.
  • Report damaged equipment or unsafe conditions.
  • Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid forklift certification (required)
  • Basic rigging knowledge and experience (preferred)
  • Two or more years of experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical environment, including experience handling large equipment and performing mechanical disassembly using hand and power tools.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely use hand and power tools.
  • Ability to lift and safely move heavy equipment using appropriate material handling equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and work in a physically active role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate instructions, actively listen, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Must maintain personal automobile liability insurance with at least state mandated coverage limits at the time of hire and throughout employment as a condition of employment. Proof of coverage will be required upon hire and periodically thereafter.
