Job summary

Turner Industries Energy Services is hiring a Warehouse Technician / Operator in Monaca, PA. The role handles receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping materials while maintaining accuracy and safety.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, strong communication and teamwork, and experience in warehouse or operations. Forklift certification is a plus and attention to detail is essential.

We are looking for a Warehouse Technician / Operator for full-time work in the Monaca, PA area. The Warehouse position receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products. Non-exempt role; Reports to the Foreman; Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products while maintaining accuracy, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining organized and compliant warehouse processes.

Warehouse Technician / Operator
Essential Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills
  • Previous warehouse, logistics, or operations experience preferred
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment (certification a plus)
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
  • Forklift certification preferred
  • Experience with barcode scanners and RF devices preferred
  • Knowledge of shipping carriers and logistics processes preferred
  • Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
  • Comply with company and client job site safety requirements
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace
Functional Requirements

Stores, removes, loads, and unloads all types of materials from storage bins, pallets and vehicles that cannot be handled by material handling devices; operates manual or mechanical devices and stocks inventory shelves; reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed; assorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, or color; moves materials and supplies from the warehouse and prepares for delivery; fills requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools, or stock items; records material items received or distributed; may maintain inventory records; performs routine housekeeping tasks to maintain work area; receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and documentation; accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment; operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand tools (as applicable); maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock checks; label, store, and organize materials in designated locations; load and unload trucks safely and efficiently; follow all safety procedures and company policies at all times; maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work environment; assist with shipping documentation and inventory management systems; report damaged goods, discrepancies, or operational issues promptly; support continuous improvement efforts in warehouse operations; perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.

Compensation

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical Involvement
