Job summary

Webco is seeking a Warehouse Technician to support safe, accurate handling, storage, and movement of materials across manufacturing and distribution. You will help ensure production continuity, support shipping/receiving, and maintain inventory integrity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-3 years of warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and/or overhead cranes (certification preferred or trainable).
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse systems and scanners.
  • Physical capability to lift 50+ lbs., stand/walk for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Epicor, Oracle).
  • OSHA forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Material Handling: Load, unload, move, and stage materials and products using forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, or other equipment as required.
  • Inventory Management: Accurately receive, label, store, and retrieve raw materials and finished goods using inventory systems.
  • Shipping & Receiving: Assist with staging, packing, verifying, and documenting shipments per internal and customer specifications.
  • Cycle Counts & Audits: Conduct routine inventory counts; investigate and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Documentation & Data Entry: Record material movements, inventory transactions, and shipping/receiving data in ERP or warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Safety & Housekeeping: Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Equipment Care: Perform pre-use inspections and routine maintenance on material handling equipment.

Warehouse Technician
Role Purpose / Mission

The Warehouse Technician is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient handling, storage, and movement of materials and finished goods within Webco's manufacturing and distribution operations. This role ensures production continuity, supports shipping and receiving processes, and maintains inventory integrity to meet customer requirements. The Warehouse Technician contributes to a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, move, and stage materials and products using forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, or other equipment as required.
