Benzeen Auto Parts in Rancho Cordova is seeking a Warehouse Tech to join our team. You will support the Logistics group by scanning and packing parts, processing orders from work order to invoice, and coordinating with shipping vendors.

• Must have a HS diploma or GED and/or 1 year shipping experience or equivalent.
• Experience with small parcel shipping is preferred.
• Forklift proficiency is required or a willingness to train.
• Familiarity with automotive repair and maintenance is a plus.
• Strong decision making and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Scan and package auto parts following shipping processes.
• Process orders from work order to invoice, tag, and label packages.
• Organize packages for each shipping vendor.
• Picture parts for inventory and support stock control.
• Engage with department teams and use approved applications.

As a Warehouse Tech, you will responsible for supporting the Logistics team.

Essential Job Functions

• Scan and package auto parts following Benzeen shipping processes
• Process orders from work order to invoice, tag, and label packages
• Organize packages for each shipping vendor
• Picture parts for inventory
• Support stock and UPP tech
• Monitor drop locations to ensure parts do not stay in a drop location for more than company goals
• Responsible for the proper and safe use of equipment
• Complete tasks through various phone and computer applications (Pro apps, Teams, etc)
• Communicate frequently with department teams regarding work-related tasks
• Supporting shipping inventory by completely weekly counts
• Ensures a clean and safe environment, following Benzeen policies
• Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
• Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and/or one (1) year shipping experience or any equivalent combination of training and experience
• Small parcel shipping experience
• Forklift experience
• Familiarity with automotive repair and maintenance
• Excellent decision making skills and ability to self-direct
• Good interpersonal communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to perform a variety of tasks in all kinds of weather/seasons
• Physical stamina and good upper body strength to lift heavy objects
• Ability to lift/load/unload up to 75 lbs
• Will be required to wear proper PPE
