VAN WICKLE AUTO SUPPLY, INC. in Spring Lake, NJ is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Associate to support inventory accuracy and store operations. You will receive deliveries, stock parts, maintain safe aisles, and use technology to assign storage locations.

Forklift and pallet jack operation are required, with additional duties in general store activities. The role emphasizes customer-friendly teamwork, physical endurance for lifting up to 52 pounds, and effective communication to keep the warehouse

About the Role

We are seeking customer-friendly, team-players to help us keep our warehouse clean and safe and our inventory organized and stored properly.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Receiving – ensure all items in our deliveries are added to our inventory properly,
• Stocking – ensure all parts received are put in their proper place,
• Safety – ensure aisles are clear and stored parts are stacked properly,
• Use technology – to receive and determine the storage location for all parts,
• Operating – Forklift and pallet jacks to move pallets and large parts,
• Assisting – with general store activities such locating parts.

What You’ll Need

• Working knowledge of – organizing by alpha-numeric part numbers,
• Communication – have excellent verbal communication skills,
• Multi-tasking – be able to switch between work activities based on urgency,
• Talent for – be customer-friendly and a team-player,
• Physical – be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 52 pounds for short distances.

Job Conditions

This is an active, hands-on role. Candidates must be able to:

• Physical – standing, bending, lifting, and using a hand-held scanner. Some heavy lifting.
• Environmental – indoor and outdoor work with vehicle and forklift noise at times.
