Job summary

Rh Showroom is seeking a Warehouse Teammate to join the team in Fuquay-Varina, NC. The role focuses on accurate receiving, stocking, and packing customer orders with strong attention to detail to ensure high customer satisfaction.

You will gain exposure to safety procedures, operate a forklift, and learn the company’s systems to manage shipments and inventory efficiently.

Qualifications

• 1 year warehouse receiving and material handling experience.
• Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Count, verify, and receive incoming shipments and returns.
• Stock and maintain the warehouse; pick, document, and pack orders.
• Ensure accuracy and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Handle shipping discrepancies and route paperwork as needed.
• Identify nonstock, special-order, and damaged materials and store them properly.
• Complete documentation for customer shipments via third-party carrier.
• Load and unload trucks; operate forklift and material handling equipment safely.
• Report stock depletions, discrepancies, or damaged merchandise to supervisor.
• Maintain safety and security of assets; keep warehouse clean and safe.
• Participate in safety training and follow Safety Standards.
• Learn and operate warehouse computer systems; basic math.

About the Role:

You will:

• Be responsible for counting, verifying, and receiving incoming vendor shipments and customer return material.
• Stock and maintain the warehouse; and pick, document, and pack customer orders in accordance with Company policy and procedure.
• Act with a high attention to detail to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
• Handle all shipping discrepancies per procedures or forward appropriate paperwork to designated employee to handle.

• Identify nonstock, special-order material, and damaged material and store in proper warehouse locations.
• Complete necessary documentation for customer shipments delivered via third-party carrier.
• Load and unload trucks, operate warehouse forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
• Inform immediate supervisor of stock depletions, count discrepancies, or damaged/defective/nonsaleable merchandise that could impact customer service levels.
• Ensure security and controls are in place and upheld to protect Profit Center assets.

• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety. Remove empty cartons, metal bands, pallets, and other debris. Inform immediate supervisor of safety issues.
• Assist co-workers in servicing customers.

• Perform all job functions in accordance with the company’s Safety Standards.

• Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
• Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.

About You:

• 1 year warehouse receiving and material handling experience
• Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center preferred
